David Joseph Craig is a comedic writer, actor and producer.

Currently he can be seen performing with CHARACTERS WELCOME, a house team at the prestigious Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York City, as well as a part of FANCY MAN, one of NYC’s premiere indie all-gay improv teams.

Craig’s on-screen work includes the upcoming film PERMISSION, Joel Edgerton's THE GIFT, and the short film DOG FOOD. He is also an accomplished commercial actor.

On the web, Craig has created WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU TELL SOMEONE YOU ARE GAY, BACHELORETTE WITH A KNIFE, and SIMPLY PLIMPTON; Craig’s cult hit web series which follows the fictitious, yet extremely hilarious life of 80’s television and film icon -- Martha Plimpton.

He would also like you to know he has three wonderful pups: A shiba inu named Tatum, a whippet named Axel, and a tiny chihuahua called The Machine.
